EPD Environmental Monitoring Bus Tour
The Environmental Protection Department will be hosting an educational bus tour on Saturday March 14th 2026 as part of our 55th anniversary celebrations. The public is invited to come out for an exciting day and learn about what happens behind the scenes for the environmental monitoring programmes conducted by the Department and its partners.
The tour will present information on:
- Marine Water Quality Monitoring
- Ground Water Quality Monitoring
- Air Quality Monitoring
- Noise Monitoring
Some of the stops on the tour include Brownes, Brandons and Bath beaches, Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology, Bowmanston pumping station, Three Houses Spring and Ragged Point Lighthouse.
Bookings for the bus tour can be made from Tuesday March 3rd 2026 by calling 535-4600. Tickets can be collected starting from March 5th 2026 from the EPD, L.V. Harcourt Lewis Building, NUPW Complex, Dalkeith, St. Michael. All tickets must be collected by March 12th 2026. Bus check in is at 8:15 am on the morning of the tour and buses depart at 8:45 am.
