As part of its 55th Anniversary celebrations, the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) will hold an Open Day at the Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary, Christ Church, on Tuesday, March 24.
Members of the public are invited to the free event, which will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Patrons will have an opportunity to learn more about the EPD’s functions, which include removal of derelict buildings and vehicles, chemicals management, and the monitoring of outdoor air, sea water, drinking water and noise.
The Department is also responsible for the review of building applications and the implementation of multilateral environmental agreements.
